Ahmed Khan / اھمد کان

I am a first-year PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, supervised by Bonan Zhao and supported by the Martingale Foundation (affiliated with the Institute of Machine Learning in the School of Informatics). I am interested in studying the foundations of agency in reinforcement learning (RL).

Currently, I am visiting the RLAI lab at the University of Alberta. In August, I will be attending RLC in Montréal, Québec. [Last updated on 9 July]

Previously, I studied for the Computer Science Tripos at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge, and wrote my Part III (Master's) thesis on "Learning Structure for Active Inference in Reinforcement Learning".
